It features the same slow oscillation system found throughout the MK2 range, providing a level of line lay usually reserved for reels twice the price. This meticulous line management ensures that even the lightest floats or smallest feeders can be cast with pinpoint accuracy. The semi-shallow aluminum spool is perfectly gauged for lower-diameter lines, meaning you get a flat, uniform profile without the need for heaps of backing.

Where to Use the Impax MK2 3000

Short-Range Feeder & Bomb: Ideal for “snake” lakes or small commercials where you are casting 15m–30m. It balances beautifully on 8ft and 9ft “mini” feeder rods.
Silverfish & Canal Work: The refined drag system and smaller spool make it an excellent choice for targeting skimmers, roach, and perch with light lines and small hooks.
