Crafted on slim 30T carbon-curve blanks, these rods boast a beautiful, softer progressive action. This “through-action” is the gold standard for natural venue fishing, providing enough cushion to prevent hook-pulls on delicate-mouthed skimmers and silverfish, while retaining plenty of backbone to steer a bonus bream or tench through the weeds. Where to Use the Solus Allround Series

Large Natural Venues: These rods truly shine on reservoirs, lochs, and large lakes where you need a rod that can cast distance but still has the “finesse” to handle roach and skimmers.
Bream & Skimmer Sessions: The progressive action is specifically tuned to prevent the hook from “tearing” out of the soft mouths of bream, even when using braided mainlines at distance.

“Because the Solus Allround features a 30T carbon blank with a softer action, it is incredibly responsive. When fishing at the 70m+ range, I recommend a smooth, progressive cast rather than a sharp ‘punch.’ Let the rod load up through the middle section, and you’ll find the feeder flies further and truer with much less effort. Also, keep an eye on those carbon tips—they are incredibly sensitive, making them perfect for spotting those tiny ‘drop-back’ bites from shy-biting skimmers
