The PENN® Clash™ II 3000 is the workhorse size within the series, perfectly balanced for serious inshore and nearshore angling, targeting larger species like medium-sized Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Snook, and even lighter Cobia. While retaining a highly manageable and lightweight feel, this model substantially boosts drag capacity to dominate tough fights.
Constructed with a Full Metal Body and Sideplate, the 3000 model ensures that the chassis remains absolutely rigid, preventing gear misalignment under the maximum of drag pressure. The core of its strength lies in CNC Gear™ Technology, featuring a precision-cut aluminum main gear and brass pinion, which delivers enduring smoothness and reliable power transmission.
The reel operates at a quick 6.2:1 Gear Ratio, offering an efficient 35-inch Line Retrieve (IPT) to easily keep up with fast-running fish or retrieve lures quickly.
