Description

The PENN® Clash™ II 3000 is the workhorse size within the series, perfectly balanced for serious inshore and nearshore angling, targeting larger species like medium-sized Redfish, Jack Crevalle, Snook, and even lighter Cobia. While retaining a highly manageable and lightweight feel, this model substantially boosts drag capacity to dominate tough fights.

Constructed with a Full Metal Body and Sideplate, the 3000 model ensures that the chassis remains absolutely rigid, preventing gear misalignment under the maximum $15 lb$ of drag pressure. The core of its strength lies in CNC Gear™ Technology, featuring a precision-cut aluminum main gear and brass pinion, which delivers enduring smoothness and reliable power transmission.

The reel operates at a quick 6.2:1 Gear Ratio, offering an efficient 35-inch Line Retrieve (IPT) to easily keep up with fast-running fish or retrieve lures quickly. The stopping power is driven by the industry-leading HT-100™ Carbon Fiber Drag System, providing consistent, fade-free pressure.
