The standout feature is the Solid Spiral Armor technology. Unlike traditional hollow blanks, this unique construction uses reinforced spiral-shaped fibers to create a rod with incredible hoop strength. What is the benefit of the 1+1 (Butt Joint) construction?

By having the joint in the handle rather than the middle of the blank, the rod retains the perfect, uninterrupted action of a one-piece rod. It provides maximum strength and sensitivity while being much easier to transport in a car or rod tube.

Can I use this rod with a spinning reel?

No, this is the Cast version. It features an ergonomic trigger grip and is designed specifically for overhead/multiplier reels. The guide spacing is optimized for the line to run across the top of the blank.

Is the 200g rating a ‘hard’ limit?

The 200g rating is the “sweet spot” for the best jigging action. While the Solid Spiral Armor could technically lift much more, using jigs heavier than 200g will cause the tip to over-flex, making it harder to give the jig its intended life-like movement.
