The “Pro” series takes everything we love about the standard Squadron and turns the dial up. The core of this rod is the High-Modulus 32T Carbon blank featuring PENN’s proprietary SLS3 construction. This technology allows for an incredibly slim, lightweight blank that hides a massive amount of power. Because it’s so slim, it’s far more ergonomic and sensitive than traditional boat rods, allowing you to feel the difference between your lead hitting a rock and a fish “inhaling” your shad in 150ft of water.

At 6’11”, it provides the perfect amount of leverage for fighting fish right next to the gunwales. Unlike the heavier 30-50lb class, this 20-30lb version offers a much more direct, “connected” feel.
