Part of the new, exclusive PENN® Tidal surfcasting concept, this rod is engineered to deliver extreme casting distance while retaining the finesse needed for superb bite detection.

Product Details and Angling Focus

This 14-foot, three-section powerhouse handles a versatile casting weight range of 100g to 300g, making it perfectly suited for targeting everything from flounder and bass with lighter leads and smaller baits, right up to casting heavy rigs for cod and smoothhound in strong tides. Its all-round capability means it excels on sandy beaches, clean ground, and mixed ground marks across the UK coastline.

The very slim and lightweight blank is constructed from a premium combination of 24T and 30T high-modulus carbon. This responsive core is fortified with Carbon X-Wrap Technology, which significantly increases blank power and virtually eliminates twisting during the cast. The result is improved accuracy and truly extreme casting properties—giving you the edge when distance is crucial.

The defining feature is the Extremely Sensitive Hybrid Sensitip. This tip section is slightly slimmer than standard solid tips, providing unrivalled bite registration.
