Because it’s a 14ft rod, it feels very ‘zippy.’ To get the absolute best distance, try a smooth, high-energy ‘off-the-ground’ cast. The 36T/40T blank recovers almost instantly, so if you use a thin braid (like 0.16mm or 0.18mm) with a tapered leader, you’ll be reaching marks you previously thought were unreachable
