When the wind is howling and the bass are holding just behind the furthest breaker, you need the extra “punch” of the Sakura Eskast ZN 30g. This 100mm version is the heavy-hitter of the Eskast family, designed for anglers who need maximum ballistic performance without sacrificing that life-like, fluttering action.

Built from a high-grade Zinc alloy (0% Lead), this jig offers a larger, more visible silhouette than lead counterparts of the same weight. The asymmetrical profile is precision-engineered to catch the water, ensuring that even at 30g, the lure “swims” and flashes on the drop rather than just plummeting to the seabed. Wrapped in a high-intensity holographic film and protected by a reinforced varnish, the Eskast ZN is designed to keep its “factory shine” even after being dragged through sand and surf.

Where to Use the Eskast ZN 30g

Extreme Distance Casting: The 30g weight is the sweet spot for most modern shore-jigging and power-spinning rods. Use this when you need to reach offshore sandbars or distant reef peaks that are out of reach for lighter lures.
Heavy Surf & Swell: In turbulent Atlantic or North Sea conditions, lighter lures can get tossed around too much. The 100mm Eskast ZN cuts through the surface tension and holds its depth, keeping you in the strike zone longer.
Vertical Jigging from Boats: While it’s a casting master, the asymmetrical flutter makes it an excellent “slow jig” for boat anglers targeting Bass or Pollack over deeper wrecks and reefs.
Dusk & Deep Water: Featuring Phosphorescent SAKURA eyes, this lure provides a glowing “target point” for predators in low-light conditions or when fishing in depths where sunlight starts to fade.

Customisable Hook Configuration

Every Eskast ZN comes ready to fish with a razor-sharp treble, but we also include a separate single hook.

The Treble: Best for “slash” takes from aggressive Bass in open water.
The Single: Perfect for fishing over “foul” ground or heavy kelp to minimize snagging, and much easier for unhooking fish you intend to release.

Gerry’s Tip: When the fishing is tough, try “Jig-Finesse.” Cast it out, let it hit the bottom, and then give it three fast turns of the handle followed by a 3-second pause.
