Its unique hydrodynamic shape allows it to “slice” through the water column for a rapid descent, while its specific weight distribution produces those legendary slight oscillations on the drop. “The 90g Orion is my ‘go-to’ for mid-depth wrecking. Since it comes unarmed, I highly recommend rigging it with a single 3/0 or 4/0 Sakura Assist Hook on the head eyelet. This keeps the hook away from the snaggy bits of a wreck and lets the jig flutter more naturally. If the current is really ripping and you can’t feel the bottom, it’s time to step up to the 150g, but for 80% of my coastal jigging, this 90g model is the sweet spot
