The Shimano Aero C5000 is the flagship size in the Aero reel range, specifically engineered for high-intensity feeder fishing and heavy-duty match scenarios. Hagane Gear: The main drive gear is produced by Shimano’s cold-forging technology, requiring no additional machining. This results in a gear that is incredibly strong and maintains its smoothness even after years of heavy use.
X-Ship & Silent Drive: X-Ship supports the pinion gear at both ends with bearings, keeping the gears in perfect alignment under heavy load. Silent Drive removes minute “play” and mechanical noise throughout the reel for a seamless feel.
