Shimano Speedmaster II 8lb Right Hand Reel

A new addition to Shimano’s conventional lever drag line up. The Speedmaster LDII is a very versatile reel. Because of it’s compact sizing, it can be used for many types of rods and fishing techniques like trolling, stand-up fishing, bottom fishing and even casting.

The 2-SPEED Gearing is very helpful: when the bait/lure needs to be retrieved fast, the angler can use the 6.2:1 gear ratio which winds in 107 cm per rotation of the handle. When a big fish is hooked and the angler needs to have a powerful retrieve to get the fish in, the 4.1:1 gear ratio can be used.
