Compact (tele-style) rods are extremely popular and could not be left out of the Skeater range of dedicated predator rods. These types of rods are popular due to their compact transport length, combined with a powerful action. We have designed five models in this range, two actions in 9ft and three actions in 10ft, one of which is specifically intended for catfish fishing and has a test curve of 4.5Lb! Extracta rods are built to fish hard and to withstand demanding fishing situations. The four deadbait models are built on a distinctive Skeater matte-finish X-Grade mixed-modulus carbon blank. In addition, they all feature a Japanese shrink rubber handle, a DPS 17 reel seat – topped with a stylish black and grey camouflage EVA – and a set of rugged high-performance black Seaguide® lined guides.
The 10ft Catfish model features a Japanese shrink rubber tube, a heavy-duty DBP 20 graphite reel seat and a longer black and grey camouflage EVA foregrip, enabling extra pressure to be applied when fighting big fish.
Each model comes packed in a stylish green protective rod sleeve.
