The Skeater UNLIMITED Catfish range presents a selection of five robust new blanks in 10ft, 11ft and 12ft lengths. These rods deliver exceptional strength, performance and value for money, engineered to endure the demands of modern catfish fishing across the UK and Europe. Unmatched in power and performance, each rod is constructed from X-grade mixed-modulus carbon fibre, ensuring exceptional strength and responsiveness. They are fitted with double-legged, braid-friendly, Zirconium (ZrO2) guide sets, with anti-frap tip guides that are both impact-resistant and anti-tangle. Guide spacing has been carefully optimised to enhance casting distance and control. A custom-designed, stylish black and grey camouflage EVA foregrip and oversized EVA fighting butt, provides improved handling during intense battles with big catfish. The durable fibreglass-reinforced DBS reel seat offers added reliability and the 10ft and 11ft rods are available with a choice of high-grade AAA-cork, or stylish black and grey camouflage EVA handle options to suit personal preference. The 12ft model features the same DPS reel seat, EVA fighting foregrip and gimbal butt. It also features a slim Japanese shrink rubber tube handle. All rods have been designed to fish and fight hard and therefore come with a short handle below the reel seat and an oversized foregrip, allowing more pressure to be applied on the fish without wearing yourself out.
The 10ft rod – with a test curve of 4.5lb – is the most powerful in the range and suited to deal with fish weighing 100lb-plus.
The 11ft rod is a more all-round model with a test curve of 4lb for fish up to about 60lb.
The 12ft rod is designed for those anglers who like to fish longer rods or need a bit of extra length to cast further.
