Description
Sonik Bank-Tek Comfy Couch Chair: Unadulterated Bankside Luxury
At Gerry’s Fishing, we believe the Sonik Bank-Tek Comfy Couch Chair lives up to its name perfectly. It is the ultimate seating solution for the angler who refuses to compromise on comfort during long sessions. Combining a high-back design with luxury dual-density padding, this chair provides the kind of support usually reserved for high-end home furniture, yet it remains incredibly practical for the bank.
The standout achievement of the Comfy Couch is its weight. Despite its generous padding and robust features, it weighs in at a mere 5.9 kg thanks to its lightweight aluminium frame. Whether you are sitting through a long winter night or enjoying a summer afternoon, the micro-fleece mattress and padded armrests ensure you remain comfortable and warm.

Key Comfort & Tactical Features
-
Dual-Density Lumbar Mattress: The mattress is engineered with varying foam densities to provide targeted support to the lower back, reducing fatigue during long sits.
-
High-Profile Headrest: Unlike standard chairs that end at the shoulder, the “Comfy Couch” features an elevated pillow area designed to offer maximum neck support and comfort.
-
Spring-Loaded Grip-Lok™ Legs: These new leg mechanisms allow for near-instant height adjustment with a simple touch, while the oversized mud feet ensure the chair stays stable on soft or uneven ground.
-
Secure Lock-Out System: To prevent the chair from accidentally collapsing when you move, both the front and back legs feature a mechanical lock-out system.
-
Integrated Side Storage: Two useful mesh side pockets are built into the chair, providing a safe and accessible place for your phone, receiver, or spectacles.
-
Padded Armrest Covers: The armrests are fitted with removable padded covers, adding an extra layer of luxury and preventing your arms from touching cold metal during winter.
-
Compact Transport Design: The frame folds completely flat and is held together by integrated compression straps. Combined with the built-in carry handle, it is exceptionally easy to move from your vehicle to the swim.
Why the Bank-Tek Comfy Couch is a “Gerry’s Essential”
-
Incredible Warmth: The micro-fleece lining is not just soft; it acts as an insulator, trapping body heat to keep you warm on chilly mornings.
-
The Weight-to-Comfort Ratio: Finding a “High Back” chair with this level of padding that weighs less than 6 kg is rare, making it a favorite for those who have to barrow their gear over long distances.
-
Postural Support: The combination of the lumbar support and the raised headrest makes it one of the best chairs on the market for anglers who suffer from back or neck strain.
Gerry’s Pro Tip: When setting up your Comfy Couch, use the Grip-Lok™ legs to tilt the chair slightly backward. This shifts your weight into the lumbar mattress, allowing the high-back and headrest to do their job properly, providing the most relaxed seating position possible
