The key features of the Tronixpro Mutsu Circle Hooks include:

Feature	Detail
Pattern	Mutsu Circle Hook – A variation of the circle hook, known for its distinct shape and wide gape.
Hook Type	Circle Hook – Designed to hook the fish in the corner of the jaw/mouth as the fish pulls away, virtually eliminating deep-hooked fish. This makes them excellent for catch-and-release fishing.
Hook Point	Offset (sometimes referred to as Kirbed). This means the point is slightly offset from the shank, which is believed to increase the hooking potential compared to an inline circle hook. The point is typically chemically sharpened for maximum penetration.
Material	High Carbon Steel – Provides good strength and durability.


Uses	Ideal for bait fishing in both boat and shore environments. They are highly effective for species such as Flatfish, Bream, Smoothhounds, Rays, and Bass.

How Circle Hooks Work

Unlike J-hooks, you do not need to strike aggressively to set a circle hook.

The fish takes the bait and swims away.
The line tightens, and the unique curve of the circle hook causes it to pivot and slide.
It harmlessly slides past the throat and stomach.
As it is pulled taut, it catches securely in the corner of the fish’s jaw/lip.
Anglers simply reel in to set the hook.
