Design and Frame: The bivvy features a simple and efficient 2-rib “pram-hood” design. This classic structure provides a stable and reliable shelter that is quick and easy to set up. It is supported by lightweight but strong 16mm poles, which are a key factor in its low weight.
Fabric and Weatherproofing: It is constructed from a hard-wearing 10,000mm hydrostatic head ripstop material. This fabric is exceptionally waterproof and durable, ensuring you stay dry and protected from the elements even during heavy, prolonged rainfall. The seams are fully taped for added waterproofing.
Compact and Lightweight: This is the bivvy’s defining feature. With a packed length of only 120cm and a bivvy-only weight of just 4kg (or 6kg including the heavy-duty groundsheet and pegs), it is remarkably easy to transport. This makes it ideal for anglers who like to travel light or fish from a barrow over long distances.
