Inova Rapid Snood Clip – Instant Hooklink Exchange

The Inova Rapid Snood Clip is a specialized terminal tackle component designed for maximum efficiency on the beach or boat. This clever device combines the functionality of a high-quality swivel with a secure quick-change clip, allowing you to swap out your hooklinks (snoods) in a matter of seconds.

At Gerry’s Fishing, we consider these a “must-have” for the tactical angler. Rather than having to cut and tie a new snood when a hook becomes blunt or a line gets scuffed, you can simply unclip the old one and slide on a fresh, pre-tied replacement. This keeps your rig body in the water longer and ensures you are always fishing with the most effective setup for the current conditions.

Efficiency & Performance Features

Combined Swivel/Clip Design: The integrated swivel prevents snood twist and tangles in heavy tides, while the clip provides an ultra-fast attachment point.
Rapid Snood Replacement: Ideal for match fishing or when the “bite is on,” allowing you to replace damaged or tangled snoods without having to rebuild the entire rig.
Versatile Tactical Use: Perfect for switching between different hook sizes or snood lengths to find exactly what the fish are feeding on without wasting time.
Compact & Low Profile: Designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, reducing drag and minimizing the chances of picking up “suspended debris” in the water.
Strong & Reliable: Manufactured to withstand the high-impact forces of distance casting and the pressure of landing hard-fighting fish.

Why Use Rapid Snood Clips?

Speed and adaptability are the two biggest advantages of this system:

Damage Control: If a fish “deep-hooks” or a pufferfish/eel ruins your snood, you don’t have to struggle with knots in the dark. Just unclip and go.
Testing the Water: Start your session with a size 4 hook on one snood and a 1/0 on the other. If all the fish are taking the larger hook, you can switch all your clips to 1/0 hooks instantly.
Bait Preparation: You can pre-bait several snoods and keep them ready. As soon as you land a fish, unclip the used hook and clip on a fresh, pre-baited snood to get your lead back in the water immediately.
Rig Longevity: Because you aren’t constantly cutting and re-tying to the rig body, your main rig stays at its original length and strength for much longer.

Gerry’s Pro Tip: To make the system truly “rapid,” store your pre-tied snoods on an Inova Rig Rapper. This keeps them straight and tangle-free, so when you reach for a replacement, it’s ready to clip on and cast out without any fus
