The Daiwa Air Z System Whip 7.5m has been specifically engineered to meet the demands of modern competition and pleasure angling, where longer whips are essential for speed fishing and targeting fish further out. This high-performance system whip uses advanced carbon technology and construction features to deliver an exceptionally lightweight, stiff, and strong tool, perfect for targeting silvers and carp ‘to hand’ on commercials and natural venues.

Targeted Design for Long ‘To Hand’ Work: Developed with a specific change in diameter and taper compared to shorter whips, the $7.5 m$ Air Z is optimised for powerful, longer-range fishing where the angler is holding the rod for extended periods. The perfect balance of lightness and power reduces fatigue while allowing for rapid bait presentation.
Super MSG® (Multi Strand Graphite): Utilises Daiwa’s high-grade carbon fibre technology, Super MSG®, to achieve a premium blend of low weight, stiffness, and structural integrity. This ensures minimal tip bounce and quick recovery on the strike.
Integrated Taping System (ITS) & Diamond Satin Finish: The whip features ITS (Integrated Taping System), which increases wall strength and prevents sections from seizing, alongside a Diamond Satin slide-easy paint finish. This slick surface ensures rapid, smooth shipping and unshipping of sections, critical for speed fishing.
Dual Tip System Included: The versatility is enhanced by supplying two different top kits:
1. Telescopic Flick Tip Top Three Kit: Fitted with a rotating lily yarn connector, this is perfect for speed fishing with lighter rigs and elastic, or for use with a traditional flick tip setup.
2. Telescopic Hollow Top Three Kit: Designed to accommodate power gum or light pole elastic (up to $10$ rating), converting the whip into a true power system for hard-fighting fish like F1s and smaller carp.
Reinforced Handling Areas: The major stress points of the whip, starting from the No. $4$ section, are reinforced. This provides a positive and secure grip when presenting heavier rigs or ‘swinging’ fish, ensuring durability and confidence.
