The Preston Innovations In-Line Flat Method Feeder (Small – 30g) is engineered for pinpoint accuracy and optimum bait presentation on commercial and natural waters. Featuring a aerodynamically weighted, flat-bottomed frame, this feeder lands flush on the lakebed every time, keeping your bait payload upright and fully exposed to feeding fish—even when casting onto steep, sloping island margins.
Designed for complete versatility, the recessed nose cavity fits a size 10 swivel or a Preston Ring Swivel to create a reliable semi-fixed bolt setup. Alternatively, it pairs perfectly with Korum Quickchange Beads for a smooth, free-running rig configuration. Fully compatible with the Preston Quick Release Method Mould, it produces neat, consistent bait wedges cast after cast.

Gerry’s Pro Tip: When fishing tight to island margins or shallow banks, the 30g weight provides the ideal balance between casting distance and holding power without creating a massive splash that spooks wary fish. To get the best out of this feeder, push your hookbait flat into the base of the Small Quick Release Mould first, top with damp 2mm pellets, and press the feeder frame down firmly. Your hookbait will sit right on top of the pile as soon as the bait breaks down.
