Description

The PENN® Clash™ II 2500 is a highly capable spinning reel designed to bridge the gap between light inshore finesse fishing and tackling aggressive, medium-sized coastal species like Redfish, Snook, and larger Trout. As a slightly scaled-up version of the series, the 2500 maintains a remarkably lightweight profile while offering enhanced line capacity and increased stopping power.

Its uncompromising construction features a Full Metal Body and Sideplate, providing the necessary structural integrity to eliminate frame flex and keep the powerful internals perfectly aligned during high-stakes battles. The smooth and precise operation is guaranteed by CNC Gear™ Technology, which utilizes an aluminum main gear and brass pinion, delivering resilient performance trip after trip.

Engineered for speed, the reel boasts a 6.2:1 Gear Ratio, paired with a 33-inch Line Retrieve (IPT) to quickly take up slack or burn lures. The legendary HT-100™ Carbon Fiber Drag System is housed within the spool, delivering a robust 12 pounds of smooth, heat-dissipating drag force. Furthermore, the reel features advanced sealing with the Clutch Armor System and the Hydrophobic Line Roller Bearing to ensure its longevity in corrosive saltwater environments.
