The Century Eliminator X90 is arguably the most versatile “all-rounder” in the elite Eliminator X lineup. Meticulously developed to sit in the “Goldilocks zone” between the T900 and T1000, the X90 offers more power than the T900 but remains more manageable and lighter than the T1000. It is a dedicated high-performance fishing rod designed for the traveling specimen angler who needs a single tool capable of handling everything from clean beach work to moderate rough ground.

Featuring a lightning-fast carbon tip (a highly requested upgrade from glass), the X90 provides incredible bite detection at extreme ranges while offering a recovery speed that helps launch leads into the horizon. Built with Formula One-grade Spread Tow Fabric (STF) and Century’s legendary Autoclave technology, this rod is a masterclass in UK rod building—lighter, stronger, and more responsive than its predecessors.

The Carbon Tip Edge: Because the X90 features a full carbon tip, you will notice that it doesn’t “fold” in a tide as easily as a glass tip. This makes it an exceptional choice for fishing the deep water and strong currents of the Bristol Channel or the Mersey. To maximize your distance, try using a slightly lighter lead (around 150g/5oz); the rod’s fast recovery will “zip” a 5oz lead much further than a heavier one in most conditions. And don’t forget—since the reel seat is sliding, you can adjust it to suit either high-reel or low-reel casting styles depending on the beach conditions
