“The 105 S is my ‘desert island’ lure. It’s heavy enough to be cast on a Medium-Heavy (MH) Sakura Ryokan rod without breaking a sweat. One of my favorite techniques is the ‘Countdown Drop’—cast it out and count to 10. The lure has a subtle shimmy as it sinks. If you don’t get hit on the drop, start a slow S-curve retrieve. For colors, you can’t go wrong with ‘Ghost Lancon’ in clear water or ‘Pearl White’ on overcast days!
