Hall More Fishery

WADAA has taken over the management of 2 fishing lakes within the Hall More Caravan Park operated by Pure Leisure. There are 2 lakes on-site, both of which have been used for fishing previously, though more recently they have been closed to access. The fisheries re-opened on Saturday 16th April 2022.

Each lake has very different characteristics, with the larger of the 2 having been established much longer.

WADAA operates both coarse fishing on the smaller lake and game fishing from the larger. Anglers can fish either (or both) according to their membership subscription type. A full range of day tickets is available in line with the usual WADAA provision. Additionally, seasonal memberships are available to residents of the Pure Leisure park.

Since acquiring the fishing rights, WADAA has invested heavily in the venue with new platforms, parking, pathways as well as a full disabled angling provision. Both lakes run automatic aeration systems – these are strictly ‘No Access’ areas.

Please note that fishing on the Coarse Lake must be from constructed platforms only and no fishing from the grass area in front of the caravans. Hall More Coarse lake is a managed mixed coarse fishery; species include: Carp 16lbs+, F1 Carp, Bream 6lbs. Roach, perch, eels and gudgeon.

Both lakes have been extensively stocked.

The venue is easily accessible off the A6 between Carnforth and Milnthorpe. The postcode for satnav users is LA7 7BP.
