Who are Gerry’s Fishing?

We have been a family run, independent fishing store for over 40 years and we pride ourselves on all of our staff being anglers. We are based in sunny Morecambe in Lancashire. Do read more more about Gerry’s history, Click Here.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30 day returns on any item purchased online which is returned in its original condition. We can either refund or change the product. Postage back to us is paid by the customer but if you are wanting an alternative, we cover the postage of the new item back to you.

Warranties. We have a huge range of products with various different warranties on them. Products normally have a 12 months warranty on them unless stated. This covers you for any legitimate breakages or failing of products in the situation it was designed for. It doesn’t cover wear and tear and damage caused by the user. We normally either repair or replace the item and follow the guidance of our suppliers. If you have a query on any product, just ask.

What is your postage, costs and times?

Our postage varies on each area and is automatically calculated in the checkout after you have added the tackle you want and your address. You can also view our postage costs by Clicking Here.

All our parcels are packed carefully and fully insured.

Some of our items take a little longer to be delivered and these times are shown in the checkout. We have over 38000 different products for you to pick from. Yes there is that much tackle available from your favourite fishing store 🙂 Unfortunately, we cannot store it all in one place hence the possibility of some items taking a little longer than others.

For the UK we use Royal Mail for smaller parcels and DX Express for larger parcels.

Sending abroad, we use UPS, FedEx and DHL depending on where in the world we are sending to.

What Payment options do you offer?

We offer secure and fully encrypted payments options to suit everyone at every time. We have simple debit and card options available as well as PayPal, PayPal credit, Klarna split payments and V12 finance for larger split payments.

Once you have added the products to the basket and your address. Our checkout will show you which payment options are available for you.

Do you price match?

We check our prices every week to ensure we offer the best and latest products and the cheapest prices. Generally we will be as cheap as anything you can find. Remember our cheap prices are backed up by decades of experience and expert advice that no one else can offer.

If you do find a price which is cheaper, drop up a message in the chat box and we can see what we can do. The product has to be in stock in the UK. Sending the link from the page you have seen makes things a lot easier.

How do I check the status of my order?

The quickest place to check the status of your order is in your online account which you can login to by Clicking Here.

You can view your order, check how long until its dispatched, the price you have paid and see if its been dispatched, cancelled, upgraded etc.
