Pro Tip from Gerry’s Fishing

The Winter Storage Secret: If you’re packing up in the rain, zip the groundsheet out and store it separately in a small bag. This prevents the mud and moisture from the floor from soaking into the breathable fabric of the Inner Dome while it’s rolled up inside the main shelter. It keeps your “bedroom” fresh and ready for the next session!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I use this and the Vapour Shield at the same time?

No. The Inner Dome occupies the same space and uses similar attachment points as the vapour shield. Essentially, the Inner Dome acts as a much more comprehensive version of the vapour shield, providing the same condensation protection plus insect protection and extra insulation.

Does it make the InflataHouse harder to pack away?

Slightly. While it can stay attached, you’ll notice a bit more bulk when rolling the shelter. We recommend opening all the mesh vents on the Inner Dome before deflating to allow the air to escape quickly as you roll.

Is there still room for my gear?

Absolutely. While it reduces the footprint slightly (from 300×300 down to 270×270), it is still cavernous. You can easily fit two large bedchairs and still have a central walkway for your luggage and tackle.

Does it fit the porch area?

No, the Inner Dome is specifically tailored to fit the internal dimensions of the main 300 x 300 cm InflataHouse block
