Built on a foundation of HVF Nanoplus carbon, the blank is remarkably light yet incredibly resilient. Daiwa has integrated their world-class X45 technology to eliminate blank twist, ensuring that every ounce of power you put into a cast or a hook-set is delivered directly to the fish. Supplemented by 3DX 3-dimensional interwoven carbon, this rod possesses a “spine” that provides immense lifting power when a specimen fish dives for cover.

Finished with a high-traction Powerlift Foregrip and a Fuji Gimbal butt, this rod is built for the long fight, offering comfort and leverage when the pressure is on.

The extra length compared to a standard 7ft boat rod allows you to work long traces (15ft+) with ease and provides a much better “cushion” when a big Pollack lunges downward. It is also an exceptional choice for Shad and Jelly-worming over offshore reefs where you need to cast away from the boat to cover more water.
