The primary function of these rubbers is to provide a secure and aerodynamic anchor point for your PVA bag. By using an elongated design, they offer more surface area to secure the top of the bag, ensuring your rig remains perfectly compact and balanced throughout the most powerful long-range casts.

PVA Bag Compression: The long, tapered shape allows the neck of the PVA bag to be twisted and moistened directly onto the rubber. This creates a “bomb-proof” seal that keeps the bag intact during flight.
Inline Lead Optimization: Designed to fit perfectly onto the stem of Korda Inline Leads, replacing standard tail rubbers to provide a more streamlined exit for the leader or mainline.

The “Lick and Twist” Technique. Once you have filled your Solidz bag and inserted your lead, twist the top of the bag tightly around the extra-long tail rubber. Give the twisted PVA a quick lick or a light dab of water and press it firmly against the rubber. This creates a vacuum-like seal that ensures the bag won’t burst on impact, even when hitting the clip at 100+ yards.

Why do I need a “long” tail rubber for solid bags?

Standard tail rubbers are too short to provide a reliable surface for the twisted PVA to grip. The extra length of these Korda rubbers ensures you have enough “neck” to secure the bag properly, making the whole setup more robust.

Can these be used with leadcore?

Yes. The internal bore is wide enough to accommodate leadcore, fused leaders, or heavy-duty fluorocarbon mainlines, while still maintaining a snug, secure fit on the inline lead stem.

Will they fit other brands of inline leads?

They are precision-molded to fit Korda Inline Leads perfectly. While they may fit other brands with similar stem diameters, we recommend using them with the Korda range to ensure the lead can still slide off the stem for maximum fish safety.
