The Sonik SK-47 46″ Landing Net is the perfect “middle-ground” specimen net, offering increased volume over a standard 42″ net without the added bulk of a 50″ model. Designed to perfectly match the high-performance SK-47 rod and reel series, this net is built for the angler who needs a versatile, reliable landing solution for large carp on both UK and continental waters.

The net features a high-modulus 2K Axial carbon finish on both the handle and the arms, providing a stiff, lightweight frame that won’t “flop” when under the weight of a heavy fish. Its two-piece 2.00m handle offers a unique advantage, giving you slightly more reach than a traditional 6ft handle when used at full length, while remaining incredibly practical for boat work or transport.

Where to Use the SK-47 46″ Landing Net

UK Specimen Carp Fishing: The 46-inch gape is ideal for 30lb+ carp, providing plenty of room to ensure the fish’s tail and fins are safely inside the mesh before lifting.
Boat Work: The two-piece handle allows you to break the net down quickly. This is essential when fishing from a boat, as you can use the shorter section to lift the fish on board or unhook it safely without a long handle getting in the way.
Weedy Venues: The Hexmesh sides are designed to let water flow through the net quickly. This reduces the “drag” felt when trying to scoop a fish through thick weed or in a strong wind, making the netting process much smoother.

“The 2.00m handle on the 46″ model is a bit of a ‘secret weapon.’ Most nets stop at 1.8m, but that extra 20cm of reach is incredibly handy when you’re fishing over a marginal shelf or trying to net a fish over a line of reeds. Because the mesh is a reinforced 95cm depth, it’s deep enough to ‘sack up’ a fish temporarily while you get your unhooking mat and scales ready. Just remember to always break the handle down before lifting a heavy fish out of the water to protect the carbon sections
