he Wychwood Carp Tactical Compact Overwrap is a purpose-built accessory designed to work in conjunction with the Wychwood Tactical Compact Bivvy. Its function is to create a second skin over the bivvy, significantly enhancing its performance and comfort in various weather conditions.

Key Features and Specifications

Twin-Skin System: The main purpose of the overwrap is to create an insulating twin-skin system. This traps a layer of air between the bivvy and the overwrap, which helps to retain heat inside the shelter during cold weather and keeps it cooler in hot, sunny conditions.
Condensation Management: By creating a second layer, the overwrap is highly effective at reducing condensation. Any moisture that forms on the inside of the main bivvy fabric is contained between the two skins, preventing it from dripping onto your gear, bedchair, or sleeping bag. This ensures a dry and comfortable internal environment.
Fabric and Weatherproofing: The overwrap is constructed from a robust 10,000mm hydrostatic head ripstop material. This high-quality fabric provides a strong, waterproof barrier against heavy rain and is designed to withstand the rigours of the bankside.
Ventilation: The overwrap is designed with a zip at the back that aligns with the bivvy’s own rear vent. This allows you to maintain airflow and ventilation through the shelter even with the overwrap in place.
