When using the Small External Pocket, don’t just throw loose leads in there. Put your leads into a small pouch first. It prevents the lead weights from “banging” against the reel pouches from the outside, and it makes it much easier to swap weights when you get to your swim. Also, if you use the external straps for a fourth rod, make sure the reel is facing inward toward the bag for extra protection!
