The ESP Lo-Pro Mk2 Overwrap is a purpose-built accessory designed to convert the ESP Lo-Pro Mk2 Brolly into a fully enclosed, all-weather shelter. It’s an ideal addition for anglers who want the versatility of a lightweight brolly for short sessions but also need the added protection and warmth of a full bivvy for longer or more challenging trips.

Key Features and Description

Full Shelter Conversion: This overwrap transforms the open-fronted Lo-Pro Mk2 Brolly into a fully enclosed shelter with a zip-up door. This provides complete protection from wind, rain, and cold temperatures, as well as insects.
Lightweight and Compact: A standout feature of the overwrap is its incredibly low weight, typically coming in at just over 1kg. When packed down in its compression bag, it is very compact, making it easy to stash in a rucksack or carryall without adding significant bulk.
Matching, High-Quality Fabric: The overwrap is constructed from the same 210D PU-backed polyester as the Lo-Pro Mk2 Brolly, with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head rating. This ensures a perfect match in both appearance and waterproof performance.
Inner Light-Proof Laminate: The material features an inner light-proof laminate, which is designed to prevent sunlight from penetrating the fabric. This creates a darker, more restful environment inside the shelter, perfect for those times you want to get some sleep during the day.
Versatile Door Design: The front door of the overwrap is highly adaptable. It can be zipped up from the bottom or down from the top in a “post box” style, giving you options for access and ventilation. The entire door can also be removed altogether, and the front panels can be rolled back to return to an open-fronted shelter when conditions are better.
Easy and Secure Attachment: The overwrap attaches to the brolly with an elastic loop around the central bell cap. It is then pegged down at the front and at the end of each side rib, providing a secure and taut fit.
Storm Pole Compatibility: To maximize stability and keep the front taut, it is recommended to use storm poles on either side of the door (sold separately).
Complete Package: The overwrap comes supplied with extra pegs and a dedicated carry bag for easy transport and storage.
