By shifting the weight balance toward the rear of the reel using a Zaion V AIRDRIVE Rotor, Daiwa has created a 3012 that makes your rod feel lighter in the hand. The 3012 is the “Goldilocks” of the TDR range—not too big, not too small. The Gerry’s team recommends this model for:

Standard Method Feeder: The perfect match for 10ft and 11ft rods. It has the winding power to deal with 8lb+ carp but is light enough to keep the setup balanced for frequent casting.
