Product Details and Uses

New for 2025 is a new range of rods from MAP that offer outstanding quality for the money. Featuring the latest in carbon technology we have used 30T carbon to create a much slimmer, lightweight blank which improves the overall performance and action of this rod range. The Generation Pro rod range consists of 6 rods, with a mix of feeder and float rods to cover a wide variety of fishing situations. Using 30T carbon allows us to offer a perfect blend of balance to the overall rod action and also creates an incredible through action that eliminates fish hook at the net. This action still allows you to cast with accurately over distance with feeders due to the faster taper in the lower section of the blank. The Generation Pro Feeder rods are supplied with three quiver tips, size depending each model, with each tip designed to be used perfectly with each rod, which improves its overall performance and eliminates any flat spots where it meets the carrier section. Each feeder rod is very versatile and will be at home on a wide range of venues, from commercial carp fishing to river fishing.

What an incredible rod. This has been a favourite amongst our consultants, and is ideal for pellet waggler fishing when targeting F1’s or carp up to double figures. Its action is incredible, featuring a through – anti-lock action which is prefect when dealing with those big fish under the rod tip. The length makes it perfect for short to medium range float fishing, and also makes it an ideal small river rod when targeting species like chub. Two-piece blank.
