Product Description and Uses

The Daiwa Generic Cupping Kit is a high-quality, two-section pole top kit designed specifically for feeding bait accurately into your swim when pole fishing (a technique known as ‘baiting up’ or ‘cupping in’).

Purpose: The primary use is to carry groundbait, pellets, or other loose feed and deposit it precisely over your fishing spot, often at the end of your pole. This method ensures bait is delivered with minimal disturbance and maximum accuracy, which is crucial for match and coarse fishing.
Compatibility: This “Generic” kit is designed to complement and be easily swapped with Daiwa’s existing generic interlastic kits.² Its diameter is specifically designed to accommodate the Daiwa Cup adaptor.³
Configuration: The kit is a two-section setup, providing a rigid construction for greater control and accuracy when lifting and lowering the bait cup.⁴
Bait Cups: The kit is supplied with a Daiwa Pole Cup Set, which typically includes two cups (often one small and one large, with one source suggesting a capacity around 250ml for one of the sizes) and the necessary fitting/adaptor.⁵
