The Shimano Aero Pro Shallow Power Top Kit in Grey is a specialized tactical tool for the serious match angler. At Gerry’s Fishing, we find this “Shallow” version to be a game-changer when fishing for carp and F1s in the upper layers. The matte grey finish is not just for aesthetics; it acts as a stealth camouflage against the sky, significantly reducing the chance of spooking fish when you are shipping the pole over their heads in clear or shallow water.

Despite its lightweight feel, this is a Power kit designed to handle high-pressure commercial situations. It is constructed from the highest-grade Japanese carbon found in the flagship Aero Pro series, ensuring it doesn’t “droop” or lose stiffness when you’re fishing at long lengths. It comes pre-bushed with a large-bore PTFE bush and features the standard reinforced band for your puller kit.
