It is a model that incorporates Daiwa’s latest advancements, including the AIRDRIVE Design, to deliver high retrieval power, optimal performance, and an exceptionally smooth operation. The “LT” in the name stands for “Light & Tough” (Light & Tough), indicating a design philosophy that balances a reduced weight with increased strength and durability.

The reel is specifically engineered for handling heavy loads and is ideal for short to medium-distance feeder work.

The Daiwa 25 N’Zon LT5000S-CP reel has been upgraded with the new AIRDRIVE Design, which includes several key features to enhance the fishing experience:

AIRDRIVE Rotor and Bail Arm: The newly designed Airdrive Rotor and bail arm are aimed at reducing the risk of line entanglement in the bail area, which is a significant advantage when fishing in windy conditions or with thin lines.
Tough Digigear: The reel features the strong TOUGH DIGIGEAR® system with extra-large gear teeth. This gearing provides an incredibly smooth and silky operation while ensuring optimal power transmission under load, allowing you to quickly and easily retrieve heavy rigs and large feeders.
ABS LC Long Cast Spool: The special ABS® Aluminum Long Cast Spool has an optimized casting edge to minimize friction during the cast, resulting in noticeably longer casting distances and better line management.
ATD™ Type-L Drag System: The updated ATD™ Type-L Drag System is designed to start up even more smoothly than the previous ATD system, eliminating high initial resistance. It immediately releases the set drag force, which is perfect for use with fine lines and during the critical phases of fighting a large fish.
HIP Line Clip: It includes a soft HIP® (High Impact) Line Clip which is gentle on your line (mono or braid) while providing precise distance control for consistently hitting your target spot.
Low Ratio for Power: Despite the low gear ratio, the wide spool design allows for a significant line retrieval per crank, which ensures a longer lifespan for the gear unit, as it is not over-stressed when winding in heavy rigs quickly.
Handle: The reel is fitted with an Aluminum One-Touch Folding Handle, a key feature for feeder anglers, as it makes breaking down and setting up the rod easy and quick. The knob is a T-Shape design for comfortable grip.
