The Shimano Aero Pro F1 Top Kit is a high-performance, one-piece top kit designed specifically for speed-fishing for F1s and commercial carp. At Gerry’s Fishing, we find that the 1.83m length is the ideal compromise between rigidity and fish-playing reach. By removing the joint found in standard 2-piece kits, Shimano has created a tip section that is incredibly stiff and lightweight, ensuring that every strike is instantaneous and the pole’s balance is never compromised.

Constructed from the same elite Japanese carbon as the flagship Aero Pro pole, this kit is built for durability and precision. It comes pre-bushed with a 3.8mm internal PTFE bush, making it perfect for the medium-grade elastics commonly used for F1s. As part of the Aero Concept, this kit is fully compatible with all poles in the range, from the X1 to the Aero Pro.¹
