Ready-to-Fish Convenience This pole takes the guesswork out of setup. It comes supplied with a dedicated 2m carp kit that is pre-elasticated with 2.2mm purple Power Pull elastic (rated 15–17). To ensure professional-grade performance right out of the bag, the kit features an integrated side pull roller, a connector, and a high-quality PTFE bush, all designed to minimize friction and provide a silky-smooth elastic transition during a fight.

The integrated side pull roller is your best friend when playing “lump” carp in the margins. Instead of holding the pole high and risking a break, keep the pole low to the water and use the side puller to manually strip back the elastic as the fish tires. This allows you to shorten the “tether” between you and the fish, making it much easier to guide a big carp into a landing net in one smooth movement.

Do I need to buy a bush or elastic separately? No. This pole is designed for immediate use. It comes pre-bushed with PTFE and pre-elasticated with Drennan’s premium Power Pull elastic. You only need to attach your rig to the supplied connector to start fishing.

Can I use this pole at shorter lengths? Yes. The pole is take-apart in design, meaning you can comfortably use it at 3m, 4m, or 5m lengths if the fish are feeding closer to the bank or if you are in a particularly tight swim.
