Product Details and Uses

The Sidewinder Sandeels have now become a ‘must have’ lure for boat anglers and with bumper catches of pollack, bass and cod under its belt it is easy to see why.

The Sidewinder Sandeels are a slim lure with a built in weight and supple paddle tail. This gives the lure a lifelike swimming action which combined with the holographic body inserts attract the fish. A quality Mustad hook ensures that once tempted the fish stay attached.

Deadly over wrecks and reef where they are best fished on the drift with a long ‘flying collar’ style of rig. Try varying the colour and speed of retrieve until you find the deadly combination for that day. As well as boat anglers the Sidewinder Sandeels can also be cast from the shore and the 4” and 6” sizes work very well for bass and pollack.
