Type: Coastlock Snap (sometimes referred to as a Coastlock Hook Snap or Coastlock Swivel Snap when attached to a swivel). This snap features an elongated, tapered shape and a secure, spring-loaded wire gate that locks into a small bend or notch. This design is highly resistant to opening under load, sudden jerks, or impact.
Material: 100% Stainless Steel (typically with a Black Nickel finish). The stainless steel construction provides maximum corrosion resistance, making them ideal for long-term use in demanding environments, particularly sea fishing.
