Surface “Rip” Technique: With your rod in a high position, bring the lure back very quickly. This creates a surface-skimming action that mimics a fleeing baitfish—deadly for Bass and small Mackerel.
Subsurface “Walk the Dog”: Work the lure with your rod in a low position, using rhythmic twitches. The Slidog will dart and slide enticingly from side to side just beneath the surface, a “game-changer” for targeting fish in choppy conditions.
