At Gerry’s Fishing, we are constantly impressed by how Shimano has bridged the gap between the convenience of a telescopic rod and the crisp action of a traditional 2-piece setup. By utilizing a separate handle design, Shimano has managed to keep the transport length of this 2.70m rod down to a staggering 40cm.

This 7-21g Medium-Light model is the perfect choice for the adventurous angler who travels by bike, public transport, or keeps a rod tucked away in a glove box for spontaneous sessions. It is specifically tuned for light-to-medium lure work, making it an excellent tool for targeting Bass, Zander, and large Trout.

Constructed with Full Carbon + Nanosheet, the blank is surprisingly responsive and “fast” for a telescopic rod. The use of lightweight single-leg Shimano Hardlite guides ensures that the rod’s natural curve isn’t dampened, providing you with excellent casting distance and the sensitivity required to feel every strike.
