When fish are pushed up into the shallows or holding just below the surface in heavy cover, you need a lure that can navigate the danger zone without spooking the shoal. The Sakura Crankit +1 is a 58mm shallow-running crankbait designed for precision work in the top meter of the water column.

This model is completely silent, lacking the loud internal rattles that can often deter wary fish in shallow, clear water. Instead, it uses a high-frequency vibration and a seductive rolling action to draw predators in. Equipped with a magnetic weight transfer system, the internal stainless steel balls shift to the rear during the cast for maximum distance and accuracy, then lock firmly in place to provide a perfectly balanced, stable retrieve the moment the lure hits the water.

Where to Use the Crankit +1

Shallow Weed Beds: The +1 is at its best when worked over the top of submerged weed. Its floating buoyancy means that if you feel it touch a weed stalk, you can simply stop the retrieve and let it rise back to safety.
Marginal Shelves and Reeds: Target the very edges of the bank where predators like Perch and Pike wait in ambush. The shallow diving depth (up to 1 meter) keeps it right in the strike zone without “ploughing” into the bottom.
Summer River Fishing: Perfect for working through shallow glides and over gravel runs for Chub and Trout. The silent profile is a massive advantage in the low, clear water conditions of mid-summer.
Foul Ground and Rocks: Use it over rocky “snaggy” ground where deeper lures would instantly hang up. The Crankit +1 allows you to skim the surface of the structure, triggering reaction strikes from hiding fish.
