Savage Gear RTF Roach 12cm 34g

Detailed Specifications

Key Applications & Where To Use

• Year-Round Pike & Zander Hunting: The 12cm profile represents a versatile baitfish match, making it an essential option for targeting big pike, specimen zander, and large perch across gravel pits, rivers, and reservoirs.
• Deep-Water & Bottom Contour Grinding: The 34g fast-sinking body allows you to quickly reach deep holding zones, counting the bait down to sweep trough drop-offs and submerged structure.
• Shallow Bay & Margin Tactics: Keep your rod tip elevated to work the lure over shallow weed beds, along reed margins, and across marginal shelf drops.
• Murky & Low-Light Conditions: High-contrast Photo Chrome details paired with the clicking glass tail rattle give predators a clear visual and acoustic target in colored or low-visibility waters.

Gerry’s Fishing Pro Tip

Pro Tip: Make full use of the bait’s ability to swim on the drop. During a retrieve, incorporate brief 2-to-3-second pauses on a semi-tight line. The paddle tail will continue kicking and the body rolling as it flutters down toward the bottom—a trigger point that frequently induces strikes from trailing pike or specimen zander.
