The Vengeance Jigging Spin is built to withstand the rigours of deep-water boat fishing, particularly using heavy artificial lures. Its core purpose is vertical jigging, where the short length and moderate-fast action are ideal for imparting life and erratic movement to large jigs (such as butterfly-style jigs) in the 100g to 300g range.

The rod is built on a durable Full Carbon blank, which is a notable feature for a rod in this price bracket, providing both the required stiffness for jigging and the raw power for lifting large, hard-fighting fish from the depths. The moderate-fast action ensures enough tip sensitivity to properly work the jig but transitions quickly into a powerful backbone.

While primarily a jigging rod, its heavy casting/jig weight rating also makes it perfectly capable for general heavy boat fishing, such as bottom fishing with large leads and natural bait in deep or fast-moving water, making it a very versatile tool for any boat angler.
