The Squall II is built with a one-piece tubular glass blank featuring a solid glass tip. This specific construction is designed for one thing: survival. The tubular mid-section provides the massive “lifting” power needed to move stubborn species, while the solid glass tip is virtually unbreakable, even under the most extreme high-sticking angles.

As the “lightest” heavy-hitter in the stand-up range, the 20-50lb model features a heavy-duty graphite reel seat to keep the overall weight down, while still providing a rock-solid connection for your multiplier. It also features a Slick Butt—a hard, smooth rear grip that allows the rod to be pulled out of a rod holder instantly, even when a massive fish is screaming off with the bait. The Triangular-shaped EVA foregrip is a clever touch, providing a flat surface for your hand to grip, which stops the rod from trying to twist or “roll” when the pressure is truly on.
