Product Details and Uses

Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Isome Curly brings Gulp!’s extreme scent dispersion to a curly, worm-like profile that swims and looks convincingly alive in the water, expanding your strike zone well beyond a static bait’s natural range and drawing fish in from further afield.

This is a genuinely realistic-feeling bait, both in texture and in how it moves, giving predatory species every reason to hold on rather than spit it out the moment they realise something’s not quite right. The White Glow finish gives strong visibility, particularly useful in deeper or low-light water where a duller bait would go unnoticed.

Gerry’s Pro Tip

Isome-style baits excel on a simple, unweighted or lightly weighted rig fished slowly, resist the urge to work it aggressively; the curling action and scent trail do most of the work on their own.

3 Examples of How and Where to Use It

Light Bottom Fishing for Inshore Species: A simple, lightly weighted rig lets the natural curling action and scent trail work undisturbed.
Targeting Wrasse and Similar Species: The lifelike profile and movement suit species that hunt visually as well as by scent.
Low-Light and Deeper Water Sessions: The White Glow finish stays visible where colour alone would fade from sight.

FAQs

What does the curly design do?
It gives the bait a natural, worm-like swimming and curling action in the water, adding visual attraction alongside Gulp!’s scent dispersion.

How should I rig this lure?
A simple hook or light jig head suits most applications, fished slowly to let the action and scent work naturally.

What species does this lure work well for?
General inshore saltwater species that respond to worm and crustacean-imitating baits.

Why choose the White Glow colour?
It offers strong visibility in low light or deeper water where a more natural colour would be harder for fish to locate.
