Daiwa 25 Caldia LT 3000-XH Product Description

The 25 Caldia LT is a lightweight yet powerful spinning reel that benefits from key technologies previously seen in Daiwa’s top-tier models, like the 22 Exist. The reel body is constructed using the Zaion V Monocoque Body (MQ Body), a lightweight and rigid carbon composite material that allows for a larger, stronger gear to be housed internally.

The new AIRDRIVE Design revolutionizes the front end of the reel, significantly reducing weight and rotational inertia (start-up resistance) for a silky smooth and light winding experience. This design includes the AIRDRIVE Rotor (made from Zaion V), AIRDRIVE Bail (a state-of-the-art, super-lightweight solid headband), and the AIRDRIVE Spool (designed for improved line outflow and reduced tangles).

The drag system is the ATD Type-L Drag, which is designed to be super-smooth upon the initial run of a fish, offering delicate and sensitive cushioning, before gradually increasing tension to effectively brake the fish’s escape. For protection and durability, the reel features MagSealed Body Construction, utilizing magnetized oil to block water and dirt intrusion at the main shaft (pinion).
