Designed and manufactured in the UK by Halkon Hunt to the precise standards of GORE-TEX®, these trousers offer unparalleled protection, movement, and durability, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable through long days on the bank or boat.

Technical Details and Fishing-Focused Uses

These trousers utilize the latest GORE-TEX® 3-Layer fabric with the new ePE Membrane—a ‘long life’ and environmentally friendly material—to deliver a completely waterproof and windproof garment that remains highly breathable. The design features strategic fabric placement to withstand the rigorous wear and tear associated with angling:

Targeted Durability and Reinforcement: The material is double-layered in critical high-wear zones for maximum longevity:
- Seating Area: Reinforced to handle sitting on hard surfaces, seat boxes, or wet ground for long periods.
- Foreleg and Knee Area: Doubled up to resist abrasion when kneeling to net fish, handle bait, or use equipment like a pole or landing net.
- Thigh Area: Features an extra doubled-up section for overall ruggedness and durability.
Optimised Comfort and Breathability: Lighter GORE-TEX® 3-Layer fabric is used in less exposed areas. This clever mapping ensures the trousers remain highly breathable, venting excess heat and moisture for all-day comfort without sacrificing weather protection.
Adjustable and Secure Fit: The elasticated waist provides flexibility and comfort, complemented by a secure snap lock buckle and strap that allows for quick, precise adjustment over layers of clothing.
Angler-Specific Hem Design: The hem at the bottom of the legs is thoughtfully engineered for footwear:
- It is curved higher at the back to prevent the angler from standing on and damaging the cuff (or a matching bib & brace).
- It remains lower at the front and ankle to fully cover and protect your footwear from spray and rain run-off.
- Hook & Loop tabs allow you to cinch and tighten the bottoms of the legs securely around your boots, sealing out water.
