The J-Braid Expedition elevates the renowned J-Braid X8 with new technologies focused on maximizing durability and casting distance:

Silicon “Coating PE” Technology: This innovative, hydrophobic (water-repelling) coating is the heart of the Expedition’s improvement. It prevents the braid from absorbing water, silt, and abrasive sediments that cause line wear over time. By shedding water and debris, the coating significantly extends the line’s lifespan and maintains peak performance.
High-Pitch 8-Carrier Weave (X8): An incredibly high weave count results in a perfectly round, super-tight, and uniform line profile. This tightly bound construction ensures the individual strands resist separation and fraying, guaranteeing maximum strength and consistency, cast after cast.
IZANAS™ PE Fibre Construction: Built with the same premium, high-strength Japanese IZANAS™ polyethylene fibre that made the original J-Braid famous, offering an exceptional strength-to-diameter ratio.
